Affiliate program terms
These terms apply to everyone in the PraxisAI affiliate program. In short: disclose that you earn a commission, promote honestly, never refer yourself, and you are paid monthly for real, paying customers after a 30-day refund window.
Template notice. This document describes how the product actually works, but it is a template that has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It will be revised after legal review; material changes will be announced on this page.
01Joining the program
You apply through our site; we review every application and may accept or decline it at our discretion. These terms, the terms of service and the privacy policy apply to you as an affiliate. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Your affiliate account uses the email you applied with; sign in with Google or an email link at that address.
02Disclosure (FTC and similar rules)
Whenever you share your link or recommend PraxisAI, you must clearly disclose that you may earn a commission, as required by the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and similar laws elsewhere. Put the disclosure next to the link or the recommendation, where people will see it before they click, for example #ad, “affiliate link” or “I earn a commission if you sign up”. A disclosure hidden in a profile, behind “more”, or only in a hashtag cloud is not enough. In videos, say it out loud as well.
03How you may not promote us
- No spam: no unsolicited email, direct messages, comments or posts in communities that do not allow them.
- No paid search on our brand: do not bid on “PraxisAI”, “Praxis AI” or misspellings as keywords, and do not use them in ad copy or display URLs.
- No self-referral: you may not earn commission on your own accounts or purchases, or those of people in your household. Sign-ups from your own devices or browser are detected and not attributed.
- No misleading claims (for example promising a job, a score or a guaranteed outcome), no coupon or cash-back sites unless we agree in writing, no cookie stuffing, no forced clicks, and no impersonating PraxisAI.
- You may use our name and logo only to refer to PraxisAI, never in a way that suggests you are us.
04Tracking and attribution
Your link is /go/<your code> (or ?aff=<your code> on any page). A click sets a first-party cookie for 60 days. A person is attributed to you when they create a new PraxisAI account in that browser within those 60 days; if they clicked more than one affiliate's link, the last click before sign-up wins. Existing accounts are never attributed. Our records of clicks, sign-ups and payments decide attribution.
05Commissions
- Your commission rate is set for you when you are approved and shown on your dashboard. Rates vary by affiliate and may be up to 50%; 50% is the maximum we offer.
- You earn your rate on what an attributed customer actually pays for a personal subscription (the first payment and renewals) or a credit top-up, net of tax and discounts, rounded down to the cent, for the duration on your dashboard (12 months from the customer's sign-up unless agreed otherwise, or for the customer's lifetime).
- Company (enterprise) deals, assessment purchases by companies, free credit and anything not paid are not commissionable.
- We may change your rate or duration for future payments with notice; commissions already earned keep the rate they were earned at.
06Hold period, refunds and clawbacks
Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment (the refund window), then approved. If the payment is refunded or disputed (a chargeback), the commission is reversed in proportion to the refund. If it was already paid to you, the amount is deducted from your next payout; if you leave the program owing a clawback, we may ask you to repay it.
07Payouts
- Payouts are made through Stripe only. We do not pay commissions by PayPal, Wise, check or any other method.
- Payouts run monthly, on the 1st (or the next business day), in US dollars, for approved commissions totalling at least $25 (the minimum payout). Smaller balances carry over to the next month.
- To be paid, you set up a Stripe Express account from your affiliate dashboard; payouts then go to your bank. Stripe verifies your identity and collects the tax information it needs (for example a W-9 or W-8BEN) during setup, under Stripe's own terms.
- Payouts are available in the countries where Stripe supports payouts to connected accounts, as Stripe lists them from time to time. If Stripe cannot pay out to you, or you have not finished Stripe setup, approved commissions are kept and carried over until you can receive Stripe payouts; we have no other way to pay them.
- You are responsible for keeping your Stripe details correct. Fees charged by your bank, or for currency conversion, are yours.
08Taxes
You are an independent contractor, not our employee, agent or partner. Commissions are your income and you are responsible for all taxes on them where you live. We may need tax forms from you before paying, and we may report payments to tax authorities where the law requires it.
09Pausing and termination
You may leave at any time by emailing info@praxisai.site. We may pause your link (no new sign-ups or commissions while paused) or end your participation at any time. If we end it because you broke these terms (for example spam, undisclosed promotion, brand bidding, self-referral or fraud), commissions that are not yet paid are forfeited. Otherwise, approved commissions are paid in the next payout even if under the minimum.
10Changes and liability
We may change these terms or the program, and will tell active affiliates by email before a material change takes effect. The program is provided as is; to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the commissions owed to you in the previous three months.
